Final Project

As we discussed in class last week, I've decided to make your final project a group video assignment. Because of the high demand of the school's limited video equipment, this project will have to completed over the next three classes.

The assignment

Choose a partner

Research the topic: The debate over a proposal by several university presidents to roll back the legal drinking age from 21 to 18. Read this article for more details.

Write and rehearse a 2 to 3 minute script (200 to 300 words). Make sure you tell both sides of the story.

The story must include: a reporter stand up; broll shots of campus; broll shots of students drinking (supplied); an interview with two students on the issue.

Shoot video. This will be done in class on April 22.

Edit your video. Can be done in class on April 29.
